In July 2018, PDI acquired Inform Information Systems Ltd (IIS), a company delivering software solutions branded as FuelsPricing. IIS began in 1990 as a provider of integrative software solutions for fuel retailers with a focus on reducing cost by streamlining operational processes and improving pricing performance through a better understanding of competitive price volume optimization. Now known as PDI FuelsPricing, these solutions deliver significant performance improvements in supply chain pricing to retailers and wholesale B2B fuels marketers around the globe.
Our heritage with Fuels Pricing began with developing a custom solution for Esso UK in the mid 1990's to support the PriceWatch Campaign which successfully changed the UK marketplace. IIS was able to take that experience and after significant development build a generic commercial package. This package was licensed by one of the Major Oil Companies and rolled out over a number of years around the world as the corporate standard for fuels pricing, automating most aspects of pricing in all classes of trade in both retail and wholesale fuels area.
Our customers range from independent retailers to the largest multi-national integrated oil companies. We have delivered solutions in more than 50 countries in all market types around the world. IIS capabilites extend to integration with many other leading fuels marketing solutions, ranging from SAP to specialized wet stock systems.
